Summary: Simple LogBook does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or third parties. All your flight data stays on your device and, if you choose, in your personal iCloud account. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no servers.
Simple LogBook does not collect any personal information. We do not use analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. The app contains no third-party SDKs. We have no servers and receive no data from your device. We do not know who you are, what flights you log, or how you use the app.
All flight records, aircraft profiles, and currency data you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync (see Section 3). You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time from within the app.
If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, Simple LogBook can sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure. Your data is stored in your personal, private iCloud account — not on any servers operated by us. We cannot access, read, or modify your iCloud data. Simple LogBook does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. All your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, both of which are fully under your control. You can export or delete your data at any time using standard iOS and iCloud features.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
